Terms and Conditions
1. All Checked, All The Time Contest (“Contest”) is organized by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn. Bhd. [Company No. 200301026766 (629186-D)] (“Samsung”).
Duration
2. This Contest will run from 1 January 2026 to 28 February 2026 (“Contest Period”). Samsung shall reserve the right to shorten, extend or cancel the Contest Period at its sole discretion without any prior notice.
Eligibility
3. This Contest is open to participants who are:
- (a) citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia; and
- (b) aged 18 years old and above, as stated on their NRIC/Passport (as of 1 January 2026).
By participating in this Contest, each participant (interchangeably referred to as “Participant”, “You” or “Your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4. Employees, dealers or agents of Samsung or any of its group companies or their families or households or anyone connected to this Contest are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
5. Eligible participants are as defined herein under in relation to the Contest.
How to Participate
6. Eligible Participants will need to follow the steps below:

Judging Criteria
7. Fifty (50) eligible Participants with the most creative answer to the Question will be selected as the winners of the contest prize stated in paragraph 10 below.
8. Samsung’s decision as to the winner will be final. No correspondence or further claims shall be entertained.
9. All entries must meet the eligibility requirements and fulfill the conditions stated in the “How to Participate” rules. If the entry is found to be not valid, it will be deemed as null and void.
Contest Prize

12. The winner announcement will be made after 4 March 2026 or any such other date determined by Samsung.
13. The prizes are given out on an “As Is” basis and are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable for cash or with vouchers of other denominations, whether in part or in full. Random colour will be assigned for the Contest Prize.
14. Unless otherwise stated, the prize is not stackable with other ongoing promotions/deals.
15. Winners will have to provide Samsung with details for verification and delivery purposes. Winning email/message that are not replied to within five (5) days (“Claim Period”), will be considered as prize unclaimed.
16. Any prizes unclaimed after the stipulated period will be forfeited and deemed to have lapsed unconditionally and irrevocably. The winner whose prize has been forfeited or unclaimed shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation from Samsung.
17. Picture(s) of the prizes shown in any advertisement, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Contest is / are solely for illustration purposes only and may not depict the actual colour, model or specification of the prize(s) and does not include any optional accessories.
Delivery of Prize(s) and Prize Redemption
18. The prize is estimated to be delivered to the winner(s) from 4 March 2026 onwards or such other period as may be determined solely by Samsung.
19. Samsung reserves the right to appoint a third party (3rd) party vendor or service provider to handle the fulfillment or making available of the prize(s) and delivery of the prize(s) to you. By providing your personal information including name, delivery address, contact numbers, email address and other information to Samsung, Samsung can use and/or disclose to such third party (3rd) party vendor or service provider for the purposes of delivery service.
20. Samsung shall not be responsible or liable for any delays or non-delivery of the prizes.
21. Samsung shall not be responsible for any inaccurate details provided by the Participant to claim their prizes, if any.
Terms of Participation
22. By entering this Contest, the Participant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted image/photo/video is an original work and does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity; and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the submission.
23. Copyright of all images/photos/videos submitted to this Contest remains with the Participants. However, by participating in this Contest, Participants agree to grant Samsung a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, license to use, reproduce, copy, publicly display, sublicense, modify and fully exploit any photo submitted.
24. Each Participant agrees to take part in any and all marketing, promotional, publicity exercises with respect to this Contest; agrees for Samsung to use his/her name, voice, photograph, likeness or other personal identifiable information in any media for the promotion and publicity of this Contest and/or Samsung products and irrevocably grants Samsung all consents and waivers necessary hereunder, including in respect of any promotional photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken in respect of this Contest.
- (a) In connection with this Contest and/or Samsung products;
- (b) For the promotion and publicity of this Contest and/or Samsung products;
- (c) In any manner, format or media whether now known or hereinafter created, and in any part of the world, including without limitation on online platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram; at Samsung’s sole discretion and royalty-free and without obligation of attribution or consent.
25. Participants will only be confirmed as winner(s) after the verification of validity of each participation. Samsung reserves the right to check the validity of any participation. Entries failing to comply with the Terms and Conditions herein will not be accepted.
26. Samsung reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, hacking, tampering with the Contest submission process or if Samsung believes that the contestant’s entry and/or results has been manipulated or is not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
27. Samsung reserves the right to disqualify such Participants from the Contest and/or receiving the prize. Samsung reserves the right to substitute or replace a new winner.
28. Each participant shall not, without the prior written approval of Samsung, speak to the press or any other media, or give any interviews or comments relating to this Contest.
Liability and Responsibility
29. Each participant agrees to indemnify and hold Samsung and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, costs and expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis), and actions of any kind by anyone including third party arising from the alleged or actual infringement of any third party copyright, patent, trademark or other intellectual property rights, or other rights, any breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or travel to or from any Contest activity, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
Rights of Samsung
30. Samsung reserves the right to reject any post/ winner at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.
31. Samsung reserves the right to change or replace the prize(s) with item(s) of equal value.
32. Samsung reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
33. In case of any dispute, Samsung reserves the right to make the final decision. Samsung’s decision is final and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
34. Samsung does not undertake any responsibility or obligation to ensure that any prize will be delivered to any prize winner. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Samsung disclaims all warranties and representations of any kind, express or implied, including any representation that any prize shall be delivered or transferred to the winner(s).
- (a) Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Samsung’s control);
- (b) Any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference;
- (c) Any claim or prize(s) that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by Samsung) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Samsung;
- (d) Any variation to the prize(s) value to that stated in these Terms & Conditions;
- (e) Any tax liability incurred by a contestant; or
- (f) Use of the prize(s).
35. Samsung reserves the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by Samsung shall not entitle the participants to any claim or compensation against Samsung for any and/or all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
36. Samsung makes no guarantee of the availability of its or any other web services and will not be responsible for any interruption, delay or failure of service that may interfere with the ability to participate in this Contest.
Privacy Policy
37. By participating in this Contest, each participant is communicating with Samsung electronically. By doing so, each participant agrees to receive communication with Samsung electronically. Each participant consents to receiving electronically all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that Samsung provides in relation to this Contest.
38. By participating in this Contest, the Participants agree and acknowledged that Samsung collects, uses and processes and/or discloses (including third party overseas) participants’ personal information in order to conduct this Contest, and in accordance with the Samsung Privacy Policy (www.samsung.com/my/info/privacy.html). Each participant consents to such collection, use, processing and disclosure of his/her personal information and represents and warrants that all information provided is true and accurate in all respects. Validity of enrollment is conditional on providing this information. 39. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and each contestant irrevocable submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Samsung Privacy Policy Highlights
Samsung Electronics (referred to as “Samsung Electronics”, “Samsung”, or “we” in this policy), knows how important privacy is to our customers. We may also share personal information with law enforcement agencies when it is required by law or to protect Samsung Electronics and its users.

This Privacy Policy applies to all of our Samsung devices and services, from mobile phones and tablets to TVs and home appliances, from our customer services to the online services we provide. We will refer to these devices and services as the “Services” in this policy.

2. What Information Do We Collect?
Samsung Electronics collects information from you in a variety of ways.
Information You Provide Directly
Some Services enable you to provide us information directly. For example:
- When you create an account or profile with us, we ask for information such as your name, date of birth, or contact information such as phone number and email address.
- If you order a product or paid service from us, we ask for your name, address, contact information, and shipping and payment information to process your order. In light of the implementation of e-Invoice by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia effective on 1 August 2024, we ask for your Malaysian identification number or passport number (for non-Malaysian) and/or your tax income number should you wish to obtain a validated e-Invoice for your order. You can also choose to save your payment information with us so you can check out more easily next time.
- To provide responses when you contact Customer Service, we ask for certain information to verify your identity and the product you are inquiring about.
- When you communicate with our Customer Service staff or others, your communications will be transmitted through our systems.
- If you share your contacts, we will collect their phone numbers and other contact information to facilitate file sharing and messaging. You can turn off or restrict these features in the Settings on your devices.
Information About Your Use of Services
In addition to the information you provide, we collect information about your use of our Services through software on your devices and by other means. This information includes:

Device Information:
: Your device hardware (such as the model and manufacturer) and software information (such as the operating system and software versions), IMEI number and other unique device identifiers (such as the mobile country code, mobile network code, MAC address, IP address, serial number, device unique IDs, advertising ID (e.g. for mobile devices, Google AD ID and for Samsung visual display devices, including Samsung Smart TVs, Personalized Service ID (“PSID”) and Tizen Identifier for Advertising (“TIFA”))), phone number, sales code, access recording, cookies, pixels and similar technologies (as described below in “Cookies, beacons and similar technologies”), subscription information, and settings of the devices you use to access the Services.

Log Information:
: Diagnostic, technical, error, and usage information such as the time and duration of your use of the Services, Services installed on your devices, search query terms when you enter search terms into your device in connection with a particular Samsung Service, any information stored in cookies that we have set on your devices, and error reports and dump logs.

Location Information:
: Information about nearby Wi-Fi access points, cell towers, and, with your separate consent, your device’s GPS signal, may be transmitted to us when you use certain Services. In addition, for certain Services, zip codes or postal codes and inferred locations using IP addresses may be transmitted to us when you use such Services.

Voice Information:
: Recordings of your voice that we make and collect on our servers when you enable this function and use voice commands to control a Service are covered by the separate Bixby privacy policy. We also collect and store recordings of your voice when you contact our Customer Service team. Note that if we work with a third party service provider that provides speech-to-text conversion services or call center services on our behalf, this provider may also receive and store certain voice commands in accordance with the contract concluded between us and the trusted third-party service provider.

Samsung Keyboard Information:
: The words that you type when you enable “Predictive text”. This feature may be offered in connection with your Samsung account to synchronize the data for use on your other Samsung mobile devices. You can clear the data by going to the “Predictive text” settings.
Publicly or Commercially Available or Shared Information
We sometimes gather publicly or commercially available information, including information from social networks you use, and combine this with other information about you to better understand your needs, interests, and preferences.
Other Information We Collect
We also collect other information about you, your devices, or your use of Services that you consent to send us. We obtain your consent in accordance with applicable law.
Third Party Analytics
Through certain Services, we collect personal information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps, and services. We use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to analyze and improve the Services.
These service providers may collect information directly and use it to evaluate usage, administer the Services, and diagnose technical issues. Your Options

3. How We Do We Use Your Information?
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

- To provide a Service or feature you request.

Non-targeted Ads
Please note that your privacy choice with respect to interest-based or personalized ads (“targeted ads”) will not affect whether or not you receive or are served with generic, basic, or contextual types of ads (“non-targeted ads”) that are not specifically based on the information we describe to you to provide targeted ads for a particular Service.
For mobile devices, the information we use to show you non-targeted ads includes the applicable app information (e.g. app package, version, name, and domain), device information (e.g. device type, manufacturer, operating system, version, display information, telecommunications provider, country, and language), and device identifiers (e.g. IP and advertising ID). We share this data with trusted business partners and trusted service providers to provide you with non-targeted ads, subject to appropriate contractual safeguards being in place.
These ads might be less relevant because they are not based on your interests.
4. Who Do We Share Your Information With?
We disclose your information internally within our business, as well as to the following entities, for the purposes described above:

However, please note that although we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no website, Internet transmission, computer system, or wireless connection is completely secure.
6. How Do We Send Your Data?
Your use of our Services will involve the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information within and outside of your country of residence, consistent with this policy. In particular, your personal information will be transferred to the Republic of Korea.
In addition, your use of the Services may also involve the transfer, storage, and processing of your personal information to other countries where necessary; such countries include, without limitation, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, China, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, and Japan. Please note that the data protection laws and other laws of countries to which your information may be transferred might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. 7. What Are Your Rights?
Your personal information belongs to you. In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to ask us to provide details about what we have collected, to delete it, or to exercise any other right you may have. However, requesting the deletion of your personal information may also result in a loss of access to Services we provide. We will not delete data that we are required by law to retain.

8. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We will not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless otherwise required by applicable law. This means that information will be destroyed or erased from our systems when it is no longer required.
9. What Third Party Services Do We Use?
Some of the content, advertising, and functionality in our Services is provided by third parties. These third parties may use cookies, beacons, tracking pixels, and other tools to collect information about your use of these Services. These third parties are not controlled directly by Samsung, so we recommend that you check their privacy policies to understand how they use your data.
For some apps and services, including social networks, we receive and store sign-in information, as well as other information that you allow us to receive when you connect with these apps and services.
10. Cookies, Beacons, And Similar Technologies
We, along with certain third parties such as content providers and advertisers, may also use technologies called cookies, beacons, or pixels, as well as other tools (collectively known as “technologies”) that communicate information from your device to a server. These technologies can be embedded in online content, videos, and advertisements. They allow a server to read certain types of information from your device, know when you have viewed particular content or a particular advertisement, and determine the time and date on which you viewed the content as well as information about your device, including the IP address of your device. These features allow us and our advertising partners to better understand audiences and to deliver more personalized advertisements. These features involved the use of both first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as Google Advertising cookies), as well as other identifiers, to collect information about your behaviour across websites and devices. Beacons and Pixels
We, along with certain third parties, use technologies called beacons or pixels that communicate information from your device to a server. Beacons can be embedded in online content, ads, videos, and emails, and can allow a server to read certain types of information from your device, know when you have viewed particular content or a particular email message, and determine the time and date on which you viewed relevant content as well as the IP address of your device. We and certain third parties use beacons for a variety of purposes, including to analyze the use of our Services and, along with other information, to provide content and ads that are more relevant to you.
Other Local Storage
We, along with certain third parties, use other kinds of local storage technologies, such as Local Shared Objects (also referred to as Flash cookies) and HTML5 local storage, in connection with our Services.
